Notes - I called an spoke with Lorn for the first time today, 18 Sep 2013. He is a nice fellow and we had a good visit. Like his half brother, Fred who I also first spoke with today, they do not know much about their mother's past. Lorn only lives about 4-5 miles from me. He said he first moved here and to his house on South Dayton Pl. back in 1961. He said he came here from Connell, WA. He is retired from the railroad. He was in the Navy (amphibs) during WWII. He was surprised to learn that his grandmother, Norah Margaret Griffiths was married to a Hoffman because that is his wife's maiden name. We wondered if there might be a connection there as well. He said his wife died of cancer in 1986. He did help with some of his sibling's info. He said his brother, Lloyd and his wife, Delva have been more interested in genealogy and would be able to help me more. I told him I would contact him sometime next week to come by and give him several hard copies of Family Group Records for his mother's side of the family. (David H. Drollinger 18 Sep 2013)
