- Robert "Bob" "Uncle Bob" L. Sisson, 76, of Farmington, passed away Jan. 23, 2010, while on vacation in Laughlin, Nev. He was born Dec. 31, 1933, in Jackson, Mich.
Bob served his country in the Army and was a Veteran of the Korean War. After his military service he went into the construction industry. Bob owned his own construction company and was one of the early developers of Lake Havasu City, Ariz., and later Lago Vista, Texas.
He moved to Farmington in 1975 where he continued his construction career. Soon after moving here, Bob became an avid fan of Connie Mack Baseball.
Bob is survived by Wilma, his wife of 50 years; son Stephen Drollinger (Suzie); daughter Pam Huffman (Russell); grandchildren, Michael, Lisa, Andrea and Aaron; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation for Bob will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 31, at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 1, at Brewer, Lee & Larkin Funeral Home with the Rev. John Preston officiating.
Interment will follow at Greenlawn Cemetery, 1606 N. Dustin Ave., in Farmington.
