- Dee "Nonnie" Horejs, 59, Plover, died Monday, Aug. 26, 2013, at her home after a lengthy illness.
An informal visitation will be held at Higgins Funeral Home in Wisconsin Rapids from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30.
A donation to Ministry Home Care Hospice Wausau/Stevens Point and Ministry St. Michael's Hospital in Stevens Point, both of which helped with her care over the past year, would be appreciated.

Mrs. Horejs, birth-named Domenica, was born Dec. 12, 1953, in Chicago, Ill., a daughter of the late Vivian and Dominic Vaia.
She was married to Mike Horejs, her high-school sweetheart, in 1975.
Survivors include her husband; one daughter, Gina (Travis) Drollinger; one son, Michael; one brother, Michael (Joyce) Vaia; and two grandchildren, Serene and Dominic.
She was also preceded in death by one sister, Patricia Beckman; and one brother, John Vaia.
