- (Ref photo of Andy attached to his obituary)
Andy Drollinger, 27, of Onalaska found a quiet place on Thursday, March 15, 2012.
He was born Feb. 18, 1985, in Milwaukee to Jerry and Robin (Gilles) Drollinger and graduated from Logan High School in 2004. Andy enjoyed hiking to the library and spending hours reading Sci Fi. He liked to express his knowledge to others with a cold diet dew in one hand and a peanut butter sandwich in the other hand. Growing up he took extra pleasure with pets and his nieces and nephews. His kindness and thoughtfulness will be dearly missed.
Andy is survived by his father, Jerry (Colleen) Drollinger of La Crosse; his mother, Robin (Randy) Schneider of La Crosse; three sisters, Corey Meyer of La Crosse, Amanda Schneider of Whitehall, and Angela Drollinger of La Crosse; three brothers, Jesse Schneider of Winona, Nick Zenon and Shane Zenon both of La Crosse; his paternal grandmother, Ann Drollinger of La Crosse; along with several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and a lifelong friend Joe Winjum.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Frank Drollinger; maternal grandparents, Bob and Bubsy Gilles; and a cousin, Jeanne Stover.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 19 at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home, 200 West Ave. S. La Crosse with the Rev. Don Drollinger officiating. Friends and family may call from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday and again from 10 a.m. until the time of services on Monday at the funeral home. An online guestbook is available at www.schumacher-kish.com.
