    • Jennifer Marie James, 38, of Early James Road, died Thursday, August 31, 2017 at WFBH-Lexington Medical Center.

      A funeral service will be Wednesday, September 6, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Madison Heights Freewill Baptist Church by the Rev. David Robinson. Burial will follow in the Old Wesley Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night from 6-8 PM at Piedmont Funeral Home.

      Jennifer was born April 24, 1979 in Lexington to Harold Lee Austin, Jr. and Cynthia Trollinger Johnson. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She was predeceased by her father and grandfathers.

      Surviving are her husband, Steven Davie James of the home; sons Tyler Biggerstaff, Brian Biggerstaff, and Parker James all of Lexington; step-son Noah James, and step-daughter Anna James both of Lexington; her mother and step-father Paul Johnson of Smyrna, Tenn.; and grandmothers Anita Workman and Nancy Trollinger both of Lexington. Also surviving are her aunt Ellen T. Rickard and family, and her uncle, Wendell Trollinger and family.
