David is survived by his wife Joyce Ann Moore and two children, Julie and Doug Dunbar of West Plains, MO, and Chris and Chrissie Moore of Ft. Worth, TX; a sister and brother-in-law, Sarah and James Kerley of Mebane, NC; 6 grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Wayne Moore, and two sons, Michael and Jeffrey Moore.
David was a retired Major in the USAF (1957-1980). He earned a Bachelors Degree from the University of Maryland (1966) and a Masters Degree from the University of Arkansas (1976). He was a residential building contractor from 1980-2009. His awards include the Vietnam Service Medal, Air Force Commendation Medal (2), Meritarious Service Medal and Bronze Star Medal. He served as the Director of Information for the Air Force Communicators and Air Traffic Controllers Association. He was a member of the Arkansas Home Builders Association and involved in numerous community service projects.
Funeral will be 1:00 p.m., Sunday, August 23, 2009, in the chapel of Roller-McNutt Funeral Home, Conway. Burial with Military honors will be in Antioch Cemetery, Greenbrier, Arkansas. Visitation will be 6 - 8:00 p.m., Saturday, August 22, at the funeral home. 501-327-7727.

Notes - Fort Worth resident, Christopher P. Moore, 42, died on May 22, 2013 in his home. A memorial service was held on Friday, May 31, 2013 at Ridglea Baptist Church.
Chris was preceded in death by his father, David Grey Moore, and his mother, Marilyn Moore Beemont and two brothers, Mike and Jeffrey Moore.
Chris is survived by his wife of 24 years, four children, one grandson, his step-mother, one sister and many loving relatives in Mebane, N.C. - Christopher P.
