- MEBANE - Mr. Robert Lee "Bobby" Foust, 72, of 206 North St., died April 1, 2014, at Alamance Regional Medical Center.
He was the husband of the late Mrs. Caro Baldwin Foust, and son of Mr. Robert Chester Foust and Mrs. Katie Mae Lynch Foust, both deceased. He was retired from Dixie Yarns and Mebane Recreation and Parks Department.
Survivors include sisters, Mary McClendis, Linda Nickerson and Vanessa Foust, all of Mebane; a niece, Rylanda Ellerbe (Travis) of New York and a nephew, Ronald Lee McClendis Jr. of Mebane; two stepdaughters, Karen Parrish (Markal) of Saxapahaw and Shanika Nickerson of Haw River; four grandchildren; an uncle, Kermit Trollinger (Barbara) of Mebane.
Mr. Foust was preceded in death by a brother, Douglas Foust.
Public viewing will be Friday, April 4 from 1 to 9 p.m. at Sharpe Funeral Home.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Johnson Chapel AME Church. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church on Saturday. Burial will be in St. Luke's Cemetery.
