  	Norman Ray Drollinger VEEDERSBURG, Ind. Norman Ray Drollinger, 74, of Veedersburg, died at 1 p.m. EST Sunday, Feb. 3, 2008, at his residence. He was a lifelong farmer and was employed at GE-Valmont until retiring in 1991. He loved IU basketball, John Deeres, farming and his family. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He was a member of Kingman American Legion Post 384. He was a 1951 graduate of Kingman High School. He was born Aug. 28, 1933, in Lafayette, the son of Hershel and Fern (Timmons) Drollinger. He married Barbara (Baird) Drollinger. She survives. Also surviving: two sons, Michael Drollinger of Veederburg and Steve (Jill) Drollinger of Covington; one daughter, Joni Drollinger of Greencastle; four stepdaughters, Debra Hall of Kingman, Carol Smith and Becky Reed, both of Fresno, Calif., and Karla (Mark) Mershon of Tangier; one stepson, Bill Baird of Veedersburg; two sisters, Esther (Leo) Downing of Oakwood, Ill., and Helen Rahn of Wallace; his loving dog, Peanut; five grandchildren, six step grandchildren and 15 step great-grandchildren; and very close friends, Tom Mann, Sam Dudley and Scott Hathaway. He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Todd Edward Drollinger; and one grandson, Jeremy James Ellis. Funeral services: 2 p.m. EST Thursday, Feb. 7, 2008, at Hall Funeral Home, 400 E. State St. in Kingman; Burial: Kingman Fraternal Cemetery in Kingman; Visitation: 4-8 p.m. EST Wednesday, Feb. 6 at the funeral home.
