- Janice Lou Booe, 88, of Veedersburg, IN; passed away 8:50 AM Wednesday January 24, 2018 at Williamsport Nursing & Rehabilitation in Williamsport, Indiana.
Janice was born December 22, 1929 in Veedersburg the daughter of Samuel Larkin and Beulah Ellen (Kiger) Craig. She married Russell Warren Booe Jr. May 5, 1945 in Sterling, IN; he preceded her in death in 1986.
She is also preceded in death by two sisters, Bea Hershberger & Thelma Gosnell; two brothers, Samuel Craig & William Craig; a granddaughter, Lynda Marie Glover; and a great-granddaughter, Maddy Jean Meadows.
Surviving family include two daughters, Marilyn Henricks, Attica, IN; Marcia (Sonny) Goings, New Richmond, IN; five grandchildren, Craig (Karen) Rogers, Veedersburg, IN; Angela (Jason) Hankins, New Richmond, IN; Dawn (Shad) Meadows, New Richmond, IN; Alan Goings, Lafayette, IN; Curtis (Rachel) Goings, Romney, IN; twelve great-grandchildren, Nick (Leslie) Davis, Allison (Travis) Brown, Lacey Hankins, Grant Hankins, Avery Hankins, Lauren Hankins, Cody Meadows, Morgan Meadows, Colton Meadows, Corbin Meadows, Case Goings, and Coltin Glover.
Janice was a member of the First Christian Church in Veedersburg. She enjoyed spending time with her family and her many grandchildren. She also enjoyed being with her friends, visiting and having lunch with them at the various restaurants around Veedersburg.
Funeral service will be 2:00 PM Sunday January 28, 2018 at Dickerson Funeral Home in Veedersburg with Pastor Garland Pannell officiating. Visitation will be 3:00 ? 6:00 PM Saturday January 27, 2018 at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rockfield Cemetery near Veedersburg.
