Mrs. Kip was born April 22, 1918 in Quail to J. W. and Addie Trollinger Ogletree and had been a resident of Truth or Consequences for 30 years. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Kip was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Kip in 1975 and one son, Darrel Lane in 1975. She was the sister of the late Lydia White. Survivors include two sons, Billy Lane and his wife, Dorothy of La Mesa, NM; Dewaine Lane and wife, Stella of Levelland; one daughter-in-law, Mari Lea Lane of Carlsbad, NM; one sister, Ethel Young of Lamesa; nine grand children and twelve greatgrandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Geneva Thomas of Wellington is a niece.
