Ruth M. (Ritz) Trollinger, 70, of Macungie, passed away on December 29in Lehigh Valley Hospital. She and her husband, Carl B. Trollinger,were married for 49 years. Born in Pennsburg to Clarence and LuluRitz, she graduated as valedictorian of the class of 1952, the lastclass to attend Pennsburg High School. She was a registered nurse, agraduate of Lankenau Hospital School of Nursing, Philadelphia, andpracticed general and private duty nursing in the hospitals and homesof the Lehigh Valley. Prior to retirement in the early 1990s, she wasa nurse in the dispensary of Strohs Brewery, Fogelsville. She was anactive member of St. Pauls United Church of Christ, Trexlertown, whereshe was a choir member and served as parish nurse. She will belovingly remembered as a truly dedicated wife, mother, family memberand extraordinary friend. Survivors: She will be dearly missed by herhusband, Carl; sons, Steven of Allentown and David in Florida; theirrespective families, Lisa and Joel, Becky and beloved granddaughter,Amanda; her sisters, June Nightlinger and Patricia Chidester, both inFlorida. Services: memorial, 3 p.m. Sunday, January 2, 2005, St. PaulsU.C.C., Route 100 and Church Lane, Trexlertown. Reception to follow inthe church. Contributions: St. Pauls U.C.C.
