Mr. J. W. Hollis Weds Miss Bessie Trollinger

A wedding of interest to many friends in Wilmington was solemnized at the home of the bride's sister, Mrs. D. Duncan, in Raleigh yesterday at noon when Miss Bessie Trollinger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. T. Trollinger, of Leesburg, N. C, became the bride of Mr. J. W. Hollis, of this city. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Dr. T. W. O'Kelley, pastor of the First Baptist church in that city. The wedding was a quiet home affair, attended by only a few friends. Mrs. Hollis was one of the teachers In the Winter Park school during the past session and is a young woman of charming personality. She made for herself an enviable reputation as an instructor and her many friends will be pleased to learn that she is to be a permanent resident of the city. Mr. Hollis is employed with the Atlantic Coast Line and is a young man of the finest character, who has been actively identified with many undertakings for the betterment and uplift of the community. Mr. and Mrs. Hollis returned to the city last night and are guests at the Hotel Wilmington. Later they will be at home to their friends at No. 505 South Fifth street.
