A few years ago I had given you some info about my lineage as it connected, but my data was limited. I have some updated info for the Lineage that leads to me, Nijaul Drollinger. I am not sure how often you update the tree, but I read that you just updated it in September. If you would like to update some of the lineage in my line I have it hear for you. I am starting with William Jasper Drollinger 1910-1989 (Marion, IN). His wife's full name is Marian Josephine "Dixie" Parks b. January 4, 1911. They were married April 1933. She died June 1990(Marion, IN) may have been born in Virginia?? Their son Charles William Drollinger was born March 13, 1934 (North Jonesboro=Marion, In) and married Jennie Lynn Smith (Marion, IN) born December 29, 1940. Charles & Jennie married May 23, 1957. They had 4 sons. All born in Marion, IN! Brian Michael Drollinger born November 22, 1958. Charles Lynn Drollinger born April 6, 1960. Mark Russell Drollinger born dead around 1964 (not sure of actual date), and Terry Scott Drollinger born March 19, 1969. Brian married Debra E. Huffman born March 24, 1958 (Marion, IN), married July 26, 1975 divorced October 1978. They had one son Nijaul L. Drollinger born March 9, 1976 ( Marion, IN). Terry Drollinger married Antonio ??? 1990 divorced in 1995. The had two sons= Terry Scott Drollinger II ( April 25, 1990, in San Diego, California) and Jeremy William Drollinger (October 12, 1992, New York?) Terry has one son out of wedlock= Austin Studebaker (April 29, 1989, Marion, IN). Charles Lynn Drollinger (1960) had on daughter Feral Lynette Drollinger born July 2, 1984. Nijaul Lee Drollinger (1976) is married to Christina Lynn Smith born August 15, 1977 in Marion IN. Married May 27, 2000 in Gas City. They have one son Nijaul Wyatt Drollinger born July 14, 2004 in Peru, IN. I am still missing some small details, but this will help fill some of the blanks and dates. This past week my father, Brian, received a call from David Drollinger, Oregon. Asking about our lineage and had many questions about our part of the tree. Visitation will begin at 5:30 p.m. followed by a service celebrating Jeff's life at 7 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 29, at Park Lawn Northland Chapel, I-35 at State Route 291, Liberty. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to NorthCare Hospice. Jeff was born March 21, 1963, in Marion, IN, the eldest of three children of David and Lois (Day) Drollinger. His father preceded him in death on March 13, 2014. Jeff lived in Platte County most of his life, where he graduated from Park Hill High School. He later attended Southwest Missouri State University, where he was a member of Phi Delta Theta. He worked for Embassy Suites at KCI for 25 years, most of those years as Manager of Housekeeping, and for the past six months worked in the same position for Great Wolf Lodge. He was also a devoted fan of the Kansas City Royals and Chiefs. Jeff leaves his mother, Lois; brother, D. Mark Drollinger; sister and brother-in-law, Laura and Phil Cridlebaugh; nephew and niece, Peyton and Emily Cridlebaugh; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and many friends, including his best friend of 36 years, Jim McCaffrey. Jeff also leaves his girlfriend and companion, Sofia Ernst. He and Sofia recently spent two wonderful weeks in Panama, the trip of a lifetime for Jeff. She was born July 17, 1914, in Croton to the late James Clifford and Julia Perkins Fawn and was predeceased by two brothers, Frank and Clifford "Bud" Fawn and two sisters, Norma Deitch and Janet Detwiler. She married Kenneth Martin and he died in 1975. She is survived by a son, James Martin of Lakeview; two granddaughters, Tammy Martin and Rhonda Drollinger of Lima; two great-grandsons, Jordan and Kyle Drollinger; two brothers, Herbert Fawn of West Mansfield and Donald Fawn of Austin, Texas; and four sisters, Lela Clapham of Marysville, Thelma Ball of Hilliard and Edith Jackson and Ragene Rinker of Delaware. "Jeff" Drollinger, age 60, of Lakeview, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, November 23, 2021, at the Otterbein Cridersville Care Center following an extended illness. On April 17, 1961, Jeff was born in Marion, Ohio, the third of four children of the late Robert E. and Joyce J. (Messenger) Drollinger. He graduated from River Valley High School in the class of 1979. Shortly after graduating, Jeff worked at his aunt's Drive Thru in Kenton, where he met a young lady, Rhonda Martin, while "shooting the loop" around the square. Wanting to see her again, Jeff asked around until he figured out where she lived, stopping by when she was helping her father cut wood, and from there the rest is history. They were married on June 12, 1982, and have been by each other's side ever since. Together they shared thirty nine years of marriage and lovingly raised two sons: Jordan and Kyle. After the Drive Thru, Jeff worked for several years for Wyandot Snacks in Marion. Jeff and Rhonda then moved to Lima, where he worked for Metokote, powder coating car parts. Thirteen years later, they moved to Lakeview, where he loved working for Tri-County Community Action Committee (CAC). He helped make homes handicap accessible for those in need, building ramps, installing wider doors, etc. He truly found his purpose helping others in need. In June of 2021, Jeff and Rhonda were baptized in their faith, by Pastor David Moore of the church they were members, Christ United Methodist Church in Lakeview. He also was a member of the Eagles Lodge of Lakeview. A skilled craftsman, Jeff could build or fix most anything he put his mind to. He loved building kitchen cabinets, islands, etc. and even did full room remodels for several people. Whenever you couldn't find Jeff, all you had to do was go to his garage, where he would be "tinkering" on something. He also was a big NASCAR fan, always pulling for his favorite driver, Dale Earnhardt Sr. #3, and he enjoyed OSU football. A "gentle giant", Jeff may have had a rough exterior, but he was a softy on the inside. He lived for helping others, putting the needs of others before his own, making him the consummate volunteer. He also was very hard working and super particular, always going above and beyond to make the job he was working on perfect. He made fast friends everywhere he went, always catching your name first, going out of his way to be as sweet and respectful to everyone as possible. Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rhonda Drollinger; two sons: Jordan (Natasha Holycross) Drollinger, and Kyle (Chelsea Kirkpatrick) Drollinger Sr.; four grandchildren: Kyle Drollinger Jr., Bailey George, and David and Charlie Warner; three siblings: Becky Richardson, Robert (Jan) Drollinger, and Sara (Robert) Dailey; sister-in-law, Tammy Martin; and numerous nieces and nephews. Cpl. Todd Johnson of the Utah Highway Patrol said Jenni Drollinger, 33, of Springville was killed after she was ejected from the rear seat of a Toyota 4Runner. The vehicle was being driven by her 15-year-old son, Kealoha Drollinger. Johnson said the young man became drowsy and began to drift when he over-corrected and went over the right shoulder, which caused the vehicle to roll several times. The accident occurred at about 1 p.m. Kealoha Drollinger received minor injures. A second female passenger, age 29, whose name has not yet been released was also ejected from the vehicle and received minor injuries. The vehicle's fourth passenger, a man whose name and age have not yet been released, also received minor injuries. Officials say all four were not wearing seat belts. Jenni Drollinger was pronounced dead at the scene, Johnson said. The other passengers were transported to the hospital. Police identified the woman who died as 33-year-old Jenni Drollinger from Springville. The accident happened on Interstate 15 near milepost 251. Utah Highway Patrol troopers say Drollinger was killed in the crash, while a male occupant was able to crawl out of the vehicle. The driver says he fell asleep at the wheel. The crash caused some lanes to be blocked and traffic was diverted offI-15 southbound at the Benjamin exit. None of the passengers in the car were wearing seatbelts.
