A native of Lincoln, Neb., Linch studied at Pasadena City College and Southwestern Law School, earning degrees in business administration, accounting and engineering. In 1981, Los Angeles County Supervisor Mike Antonovich appointed him to the county's Productivity Advisory Committee, on which he served as vice chairman. In Glendale, he served on the city's Civil Service Commission, the mayor's Committee for Employment of the Handicapped, the Area Agency on Aging and an advisory committee to the Glendale Unified School District. 7458 | Dillard Trollinger Rites Tomorrow Dillard Trollinger Rites Tomorrow YANCEYVILLE, N.C.--A funeral for Dillard Trollinger, 74, will be held tomorrow p.m. at Providence Baptist Church by the Rev. J. L. Singletary. Burial will be in Blackwell Church cemetery. Mr. Trollinger died Wednesday at North Carolina Memorial Hospital in Chapel Hill after a four-day illness. He was the owner and operator of Trollinger Service Station until his retirement. Mr. Trollinger is survived his wife, Mrs. Jennie S. Trollinger of Yanceyville; a foster son, Ronnie Turner of the home; a sister, Mrs. Ganaway of Yanceyville; and a foster brother, Herbert Turner of Yanceyville. The body will remain at Fulton Funeral Home until p.m. today when it will be taken to the family residence Yanceyville. |

Police and members of the girls' families said they left notes addressed to their parents declaring they "couldn't get the men they wanted." Miss Trollinger and Miss Baker shot themselves at a laundry last night with pistols belonging to Miss Trollinger's father, H. Trolltiger, night watchman at the laundry. The elder girl died shortly after she was received at Grady hospital. |
