Kenney was born on May 22, 1947 in Whittier, CA to Charles “Ray” Miklaucic and Nellie (Prater) Miklaucic. He was raised in California, and graduated in 1965 from Warren High School. Kenney was preceded in death by his father Charles Ray, his brother Bradlee Miklaucic, and his daughter Kimberly Miklaucic-Herrera.
