44122 Sarah A. and husband, Stephen Palmer were the next household enumerated after Newton Trolinder in the 1860 Census. Judy Kay LaFollete first thought that she was a probable daughter of Newton. I believe she is correct. I believe as Judy does too that children, William J. and John M. are the probable children of Stephen from a prior marriage.

Note: The stone mason apparently made a simple mistake on her birth year by inscribing an "8" instead of a "3" (as you know, they have a very similar shape) making it "1889" instead of 1839 as it should have been. It was probably considered too expensive to correct and the family let it go presuming most people would understand the mistake. (DHD 8 Oct 2021)

OBITUARY: SARAH DRULINER

Sarah Ellen Druliner, the daughter of William and Eada (Mack) Pollock, was born in Beatrice, Nebraska on April 29, 1924 and passed away in Aurora, Nebraska on December 29, 2013, at the age of 89.

Sarah grew up in Beatrice, Nebraska where she graduated high school and later attended Nebraska Wesleyan University in Lincoln. She married Robert Goble on January 16, 1943 and had three children: Kathy, Patty and Debe.

On December 30, 1961 Sarah married Lloyd Sack and moved to Aurora. Lloyd's children are Bill Sack, Aurora (deceased) and Steve Sack, Central City.

She married Ross Druliner of Benkelman, Nebraska on June 4, 1983 where they resided until moving back to Aurora. Ross's children are Ed (Nadine) Druliner, Toledo, Ohio, Doug (Monnie) Druliner, Wheatridge, Colorado and Anita (Larry) Kitt of Parks, Nebraska.

Sarah loved Lloyd and Ross's children and grandchildren and welcomed them all into her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her spouses, Robert Goble, Lloyd Sack, Ross Druliner and her son-in-law, Jim Pollard.

Sarah loved music, dancing, Nebraska football, camping, her motor home and spending time outdoors and at the cabin. She had a very special place in her heart for animals.

She will be missed by her children and remembered for the sacrifices she made and her strength of character when faced with life's adversities. Known as "Gram" by her grandchildren, she will be remembered for her sense of humor and instilling in them the importance of family. She will be missed by her friends who enjoyed her quick Irish wit and sense of humor.

Those left to cherish her memory are her three daughters, Kathy Pollard, Patty (Mike) Newman and Debe (Mike) Merrick; 5 grandchildren, Jennifer (Mark) Steliga, Nathan (Carli) Israelson, Alex (Lindsey) Israelson, Rachel Newman and fiancé Steve Catlett, Chase Newman and Megan Dunlap and 4 great-grandchildren, Caitlin & Casey Steliga, Harlow Israelson and Jax Israelson.
