48051 | The South Bend Tribune (Indiana), May 30, 1937 In this publication it speaks to the early history of Asher White (ref his record at Drollingergenealogy.com for a copy of this publication) and his migration to Indiana including that of several Druliners where Elizabeth is mentioned as being the wife of Thomas Vail and the sister of Gabriel Druliner and the daughter of Frederick Druliner (who we know to be the same person as Frederick Drollinger (1752-1841). Therefore, this article serves as substantial evidence that Elizabeth is in fact the daughter of Frederick Drollinger. Ref her Findagrave record for photos of her headstone. 48076 | The Tucson Daily Citizen October 26, 1903 ---------- Married Three Sisters Lived to Old Age ---------- SHELBYVILLE, Ind., Oct. 26 -- Joseph Monroe, age 98, the oldest resident farmer of this county, died today on the farm he entered from the government seventy years ago. He was a direct lineal descendant of James Monroe, fifth president. His family represents five generations and the hands of some of his children are now white with age. He had been married three times, the wives, Harriet, Emma and Eliza Ann Keeler, being sisters and by each of whom he reared a large family. Only nine of his children survive him. His last wife died about ten years ago and a few years later he was engaged to a fourth sister, then 80 years and a maid, but she died a few days before the day on which they were to wed. Monroe had the confidence of a large circle of business men during the active years of his life, being a prosperous farmer and stock dealer, and for sixty years took an active part in local politics, always, with few exceptions affiliating with the Democrats. | Monroe, Joseph (I8523)

Christopher Weist of Little Sandusky who died at Larue, Marion County, last wednesday morning while visiting at the home of his daughter, Mr. and Mrs. William Burbaugh. The funeral occured from the Methodist Church at Little Sandusky Friday afternoon at 1 oclock. The remains were interred in the Little Sandusky Cemetery. Mr. Weist was born in Baden, Germany, 26 March 1825 son of Christopher and Magdalene (Schrote) Weist. The family came to America and settled in Marion County in 1839. The Funeral of Christ Weist Occures at LaRue This morning. The passing away of Christopher Weist, whose funeral took place this forenoon at his home north of LaRue, and mention of whose death was made in the Star, Thursday, removes a familiar character from Marion County. The deceased was in his seventy-sixth year and drove a stage coach through Marion fifty years ago. At the time Little Sandusky was a city compared with Marion. His route was from Sandusky City, on the lake, to Delaware. For a number of years he resided in Marion, but of late years has spent his time in and about LaRue and Upper Sandusky, and a part of the time at Little Sandusky. Later he returned to this city and lived with his niece, Mrs. John Seitz. Mr. Weist was at one time quite wealthy. He had twelve children and to each of these he gave a farm. His wife died twelve years ago and since that time he has always lived at some hotel. Marion Daily Star, April 20, 1900 | Weist, Christopher (I6453)
