Born in Allentown, she was the daughter of the late Erwin and Bertie (Trollinger) Crush. Thelma was a 1947 graduate of Allentown High School. She was employed by various local garment companies, before retiring from the Paper Outlet. Thelma was a member of the Fearless Fire Company and St. Mark's UCC in Allentown. She also frequented the Senior Center (Lehigh Valley Active Life). Thelma will be remember for being a generous and caring friend, active in many areas of the community. Survivors: Daughters, Linda A. Kratzer of Allentown and Diane Kratzer Eklund and her husband Brett Johnson of Tucson, Arizona. Services: Funeral services will be held at 11 AM on Friday, March 22, 2019 in the K.V. Knopp Funeral Home, Inc., 46 E. Susquehanna St., Allentown. 48112 | Thelma Lynn Crawford, 83, passed away on Monday, April 1, 2024 in Robert Lee, Texas. Lynn was born on July 31, 1940, to Lloyd J. and Nannie Maureen (Trollinger) Boxwell in Amarillo, Texas. Lynn enjoyed collecting unique turquoise jewelry from her travels to Red River, New Mexico. She began these trips as a young child with her parents to visit and spend the summers with her cousins. She continued that tradition with her grandchildren to share her favorite stops with them. She was a florist and enjoyed everything to do with flowers, both flower arranging and gardening. She also enjoyed her stained-glass projects. Lynn liked to spend her alone time on the patio watching the sunsets. She was also notorious for burning the cookies that she would make for her grandchildren. Lynn was a member of the First Christian Church in Dumas, Texas. Lynn is survived by her loving husband, William Glenn Crawford; daughters, Connie Hastings and husband, Timothy and Danelle Coffer and partner, Tom Gaines; step-son, Monty Crawford and wife, Sue; step-daughter, Stacy Crawford; grandsons, Kyler Elliott, Jared Lewis, and Colton Coffer; granddaughters, Shira Shambles and Kelli Michals and husband, Stephen; great-grandsons, Kaden Tibbs, Lincoln Coffer and one on the way; great-granddaughter, Aspen Shambles; and sister, Judith Anne Pierson. He preceded her in November 1983. Surviving are: three sons, Greg (Cindy Stine) Drullinger of Danville, Dave (Rita) Drullinger of Bismarck, Luke (Cynthia) Drullinger of Edmond, Okla.; three daughters, Teresa (Mark) Lappin, Julie (Dave) Terrell and Lori (John) Lawson, all of Danville; a brother, Dewey (Jeanette) Lyons of Tennessee; one sister, Jan Jump of Lebanon, Ind.; 18 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Thelma was preceded by her parents, one sister and six brothers. She was a homemaker and was a member of St. Paul's Catholic Church. Thelma enjoyed cross-stitch and embroidery, having family get-togethers at her home, stamp collecting and genealogy. Most of all she loved her family and grandchildren. A celebration of life service for Thelma will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 16, 2005 at Sunset Funeral Home & Cremation Center. Officiating: Pastor Alan Rudie. He was a hard worker and took pride in his family. He felt this was his greatest legacy. Preceded in death by wife, Bernadean; sister, Dora Dickson; and best friend, Howard Paulus, he is survived by devoted wife, Helen Beard Plouse, and sister, Margaret Williams.
