57678 | What is over looked here is Gabriel the immigrant had a son Named Gabriel born 1750. This Gabriel married a Philisare Reach in 1769 in Salem County NJ. No children are found from this marriage. Gabriel Jr. moved around quite a bit. He left tracks in Cumberland County PA before moving to Allegany County MD. The last know track he left was when he sold he land to his brother Jacob in 1808. After that he disappears. It is possible he married a Lydia and moved back to the NJ area and was the father of Philathea. The close resemblance between Philisare and Philathea could be because of the poor spelling of the time. If this is the case then she is not the daughter of Joseph and the other Lydia may be the daughter of Gabriel in addition. Added as a child of Gabriel based on this premise Gordon L Drollinger 27 April 2016 Phila Mccully in the 1880 United States Federal Census Name: Phila Mccully Age: 70 Birth Year: abt 1810 Birthplace: New Jersey Home in 1880: Philadelphia, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania Race: White Gender: Female Relation to Head of House: Mother Marital Status: Widowed Father's Birthplace: New Jersey Mother's Birthplace: New Jersey Household Members: Name Age Isaac H. There were no informants listed on the death certificate - only the Medical Doctor and the Undertaker. Philathea McCully was born in New Jersey about 1804 and her parents - Gabrie and Lydia Trullendar were listed as born in U.S.A. With regard to my connection or rather my husband's connection, Isaac McCully, Philathea's husband, was the son of Bradshaw and Mary Stow McCully. My husband's connection is through the Stow family. Marlynn Gordon_D Dec 09, 2009 No unfortunately it was not a will. A David Bowen was the administrator and it mentioned Gabriel was a grocer. There was no land and the inventory list was of personal items chairs, crocks, etc. Rent was due so He didn't own a house. There was money due for a coffin for Mrs Trullender (first name omitted) and one for Gabriel. No I can't connect her but I have hopes of if we can uncover a few more clues. The big one being the death certificate so far. Did you write and get it? If so there may be further data at that source. I think Frederick's son Gabriel can ruled out even tho he was born in 1780 as he had children starting in 1801 in Warren County Ohio. I believe Gabriel the OI can be ruled out as too old. Which leaves us with Gabriel the son. The only problem here is he was in Cumberland County PA in 1781. So it looks like there is either a new Gabriel in the mix or one of the known ones came back to NJ for a while. Is there an informant listed on the death certificate? Where do you fit in the puzzle? Gordon Marlynn39 Dec 09, 2009 It was handwritten and the "r" could have been included. It was fancy writing and looking at it again it could well have been Trullender and I interpreted as Tullender. At first I thought it was Fullender. In addition the marriage between Phila and Isaac was listed as McCollough although it was McCully. Do you have their marriage date? Can you connect Phila with Gabriel the immigrant? Was Phila mentioned in the estate of Gabriel? Marlynn Gordon_D Dec 09, 2009 Interesting to say the least. is that the State Archives or? Is it written or typed with the R missing? Did you get that in hard copy? On going back to my NJ binder I noted that it wasn't John Marshall she married. He was the one entry above her. She married Isaac McCollough. Now that I look at a map I see Camden is across the river from Philadelphia. It was in the Philadelphia court records I found the estate records of Gabriel the immigrant as Trullender. Why Phila when he lived and died in Salem County I have no idea. Gordon Marlynn39 Dec 09, 2009 I got the death certificate from the Trenton Archives. 57690 | What was Nevada's actual date of birth? -- 2004 Headstone show DOB as 5-21-1864, Family bible shows 5-28-1864 (Ref data provided by Harry Benjamin Drollinger); obit says 23 May 1864. I think I would probably trust the Family Bible date since I'm assuming her birth date was entered into it by her parents within a reasonable time following her birth. (David H. Drollinger 29 Apr 2010) from Harry Drollinger to Dave Drollinger date Thu, Jun 10, 2010 at 6:04 AM subject Titus Family Bible which supports Vada Drollinger's marriage Dear Dave, A little over a year ago, I found the descendants' of Frank and Vada Drollinger Titus who have been helping with that part of the Drollinger descendants. His name is Jerry Titus and lives on the east coast (is in poor health). Some time over the last year he told me about the Titus Family Bible and I have requested the data from him.Below is the email and contents of the bible he sent to me on the 8th of this month. He stated that he was afraid to copy the pages because of the over all poor condition of the bible. After reading all the data, I think this is a Titus Family Bible but contains data on Drollingers. More bible data .... You cuz'n Ben ========================================================= Dear Ben, I have no definite knowledge whether this is the FRANK and VADA Titus Bible. This appears to be an first publication. Front page states: Philadelphia J.B. Lippincott & Co 1860 When Dorothy Eccles's brother, Hugh, had possession of it, she and Doc noticed that it was in very bad condition and had it rebound, and it is now very sturdy. The pages are tightly bound. In the middle there are 3 pages (VERY YELLOWED AND DIFFICULT TO READ)and I would not want the responsibility of trusting ANYONE to FORCE open the pages to try and copy what is written on the pages, some of which is barely legible, and probably not copy in view of the condition of the pages. I have the Bible in front of me and will type here what I can decipher from the pages. Hopefully, with this info it will benefit you greatly. FIRST PAGE Elbert M. Robbins & Mable C. 57700 | When I had my father over to Germany for a visit in 1984 I took him to the town of Lollar in Hessen near Giessen. He knew of the death of Katherina because his fellow coworker, Orville "Burkie" Burke, at Greyhound was involved in a settlement case involving his wife. German inheritance is not the same as the USA. Ever since the Code of Napolean which was if a person had issue all would share equally. She was an Ullmann descendant and related to Peter Ullmann my great grandfather. Peter had made several trips back to Germany and purchased a house for his mother. When Katherina died her estate settlement brought about the court case. My father knew she was buried there in the cemetery. We looked but did not find a stone. There was an older man there working with a pair of hedge trimmers cutting some bushes. I asked him in my poor German if he knew of an Ullmann grave stone. He said yes and walked over to a stone covered in ivy. He chopped away the ivy and there was her stone. Then he mention Ullmann was a Bomisch or Bohemian name. He said he was also of Bohemian descent. then he proceeded to tell me of how his youngest brother was drafted into the German Army. He did not want to be a soldier so he ran away. The family was eating breakfast and the Gestapo came and took him out in the alley and shot him. Then they made the family pay for the bullets. Gordon L. Drollinger | Ullmann, Kathrina (I11971)
