6911 | Because Hannah is listed living with her older sister, Christine Drollinger in the 1930 Census as a single woman with the surname 'Drollinger', it appears she never married as did her sister, Christine. | Drollinger, Hannah Helen (I9827)

6912 | Because Harriett carries the middle initial of 'E' and has a daughter named Eliza, it appear that Harriett's middle name MAY be Eliza or Elizabeth. Harriett's birth date varies wildly from document to document. The only birth date that seems most likely is about 1839 as it is recorded in her 1870 Census. She herself was probably the one furnishing the answers to the census taker's questions. Additionally, 1839 also appears to be reasonable since her daughter, Caroline was born about 1855 which means Harriett would have been roughly 16 years old at the time. Listed as Harriett Cook in her daughter's death certificate. According to the 1910 Census, Harriett was the mother of six children with five still living. 1870 United States Federal Census Name Harriet Trolinger [Harriett E. 6914 | Because he himself provided his birth year as 1888 on his World War I and World War II cards and because his birth year is provided as 1888 in the 1900 Census, information that was most likely provided by his own mother, it appears that 1888 is almost certainly his true birth year and not 1887 as provided by his wife, Marie on his death certificate. Additionally, he himself provides his birth place as Thayer, Nebraska on his World War I card. | Drullinger, Roy O'Dell (I11764)

6922 | Because he signed his name as 'Toney Drulinger' on his World War I Draft Registration Card and because his name also appears as 'Toney Drulinger' on several other documents, it appears that was spelling he went by in spite of it being 'Tony Drulinger' on his headstone. 6935 | Because his son, Dennis has a son named Elijah (nickname Eli), it seems probable he was named in honor of his father's father. If so, it would serve as compelling evidence that Eli's true birth name is also Elijah. According to the Union Historical Company of 1880 (copy contained herein), Eli and Sarah Trullinger had a total of eleven children. History of Polk County, Iowa Des Moines: Union Historical Company, 1880. TRULLINGER, ELI-Farmer, section 34, P. O. Mitchellville. 6942 | Because Jacob is of an appropriate age and was born in Tiefenbronn, Gordon L. Drollinger and I agree that he is the likely son of Mathias Drollinger and Anna Maria Holzhauer. Of course this educated speculation is subject to change providing a preponderance of evidence suggests otherwise. Keep in mind that Tiefenbronn is a very small village today and had to have been even much smaller back in the mid-1700s. Perhaps as little as a few dozen people may have lived there in the mid-1700s. (David H. Drollinger 26 Jan 2021) Research of the late Sighard Drollinger of Karlsruhe. | Drollinger, Jacob (I17062)

6943 | Because James signed his WWI DRC with his mark being "X", it is assumed he was illiterate at the time. His name is provided by the registrar as "James Henry Trollinger". 6945 | Because Joseph and his wife have a daughter named Teresa (Theresa), I believe that Joseph's wife's birth name is also Teresa (Theresa). Nicknames have always been popular and as a result, I believe the various forms of Teresa such as "Theresy" and "Tinsey", etc. are simply the misspellings of it by various people such as census takers and others coupled with the fact many of them were not spelling experts along with the distinct possibility that even Joseph's wife may not have been a good speller herself all leading to the various spellings of her name. Because 'Theresa' is the more common spelling of the name, that is why she is identified as such in this record. (David H. Drollinger 23 Jun 2021) | Cummings, Theresa (Theresy) (Tinsey) (I937)

6946 | Because Kathy Jo Peterson-Drollinger's three children's births were 1974 (Amy), 1975 (Angela) and 1976 (Roger) tightly grouped sequentially, and because Amy's marriage DOES identify her father as Roger Clay Drollinger, the argument can also be equally made that Amy is in fact a daughter of Roger. If this is not the case, one would expect that she will contact us with the correction once she becomes aware of it. From the marriage evidence it looks like her mother was either not married to Roger at the time or gave her daughter her maiden name rather than used the infamous Roger Clay's surname. | Drollinger, Amy Jo (I34122)

6950 | Because Martha and Ruby both share the same headstone/monument and because Martha died in 1905 as did Ruby who was also born in 1905, it appears they are mother and daughter and Martha most likely died while in child birth with Ruby.
