7004 | Because they are all buried in Fulton County, GA, James B. Samuel Trollinger (28 Mar 1892-3 Nov 1977) and Thomas Benjamin Trollinger are probably closely related. Note: "M. Trollinger" listed below in the 1920 Census is actually James Belton Trollinger. The enumerator mistakenly wrote his name down as "M. Trollinger". Because of the listed age, the fact he is listed as male and carries the same Trollinger surname and is also listed as a mechanic, it is almost a certainty that "M. Trollinger" is indeed James Belton Trollinger, the husband of Maude. 1920 United States Federal Census Name: Maude Trollinger Age: 25 Birth Year: abt 1895 Birthplace: Georgia Home in 1920: Atlanta Ward 6, Fulton, Georgia Race: White Gender: Female Relation to Head of House: Roomer Marital Status: Married Father's Birthplace: Georgia Mother's Birthplace: Georgia Able to read: Yes Able to Write: Yes Household Members: Name Age J W Biggers 42 J W Biggers 35 (Roomer) M Trollinger 28 Georgia; Both parents born in GA; Male; Occupation: Garage mechanic; Married (Roomer) Maude Trollinger 25 Georgia; Both parents born in GA; Occupation: Hairdresser - shop World War I Draft Registration Cards 1) Name in full: James Belton Trollinger 2) Home address: 25 S. 7025 | Beginning in 1800 he sold off the grant in 100 acre parcels, each for $100. On September 20th of that year, he sold pieces to his son John, Jr. and Frederick. Frederick's deed does not name him as a son. Both deeds refer to these parcels being "part of a larger tract of five hundred acres" that John Drollinger obtained from the state of North Carolina. John Jr.'s 100 acres is named as the seat tract. Kay Germaine Ingalls-National Genealogical Quarterly, vol 96, No.1 March 2008 page 48 and 49 John [Jr.], identified as being of Willson [sic] County, Tennessee, sold his 100 acres to William of Preble County, Ohio 17 August 1819 and the transaction was recorded in Guilford May Term 1820.
