Biographical Summary Elizabeth Tilley was born in 1607 in Henlow, Bedfordshire, thedaughter of John and Joan (Hurst)(Rogers) Tilley. She came with herparents on the Mayflower in 1620. Both her parents died the firstwinter at Plymouth, leaving her orphaned at the age of 13 in the NewWorld. She married to Mayflower passenger John Howland around 1625 atPlymouth.
