- Helen Lois Drollinger, age 89, of Cassville, Missouri passed away Wednesday, October 24, 2018 at Cassville Health and Rehabilitation.
She was born December 4, 1928 in Winona, Kansas, the daughter of Homer Gee and Mary (Ward) Gee. On December 4, 1949 she was united in marriage to the love of her life, Claude Edmond Whaley, later she married Ron Goodman, and Billy Drollinger, who all preceded her in death. Also preceding her in death were her parents; one son, Thomas Whaley and two grandsons, Jason and Shawn Youngblood.
Surviving are one daughter, Rose Youngblood and her husband Rob of Butterfield, Missouri, one daughter-in-law Kelli Whaley-Bakker of McDowell, Missouri and a close family friend Martin of Butterfield, Missouri, ten grandchildren; Laura Clark, Chris Youngblood, Tracy Eaton, Justin Youngblood, Crystal Dimello, Alex Whaley, Tiffany Willhite, Kala Schroeder, Brian Partridge and Cassandra Youngblood. Also surviving are twelve great granddaughters and eleven great grandsons.
Helen grew up and received her education in Winona, Kansas, where she graduated from high school. She then went to beauty school in Wichita, Kansas. She loved her church, reading her Bible and led many to Christ also traveling with the love of her life. She was very devoted to her family and loved her grandchildren and her cat "my dearest Mittens".
Services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Monday October, 29, 2018 at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville. Russ Pendergraft will conduct the services. Burial will be later at Winona Cemetery in Winona, Kansas.
The family will receive friends and family from 1:00 until 2:00 P.M. Monday at Fohn Funeral Home in Cassville.
