- Mebane - Robert Henry Trollinger, 62, of Rt. 4, Mebane, died at 11 am. Thursday in the North Carolina Baptist Hospital following eight days of illness.
A native of Alamance County. he was the son of the late John W. and Pearl Russell Trollinger. He was a retired employee of Cone Mills Corp. and a member of Haw River United Church of Christ.
Surviving is the widow, Mrs. Lucy Bason Trollinger of the home; sons, Dr Ira Trollinger of Asheville and Garry Trollinger of Burlington; daughters, Mrs. La Verne T. Bingham of Burlington, Mrs. Janet B. Lewis of Rt. 4, Mebane; brothers, Aulsey Trollinger of Rt. 3, Hillsborough, Melvin Trollinger of Rt. 1, Haw River, James Trollinger of Roanoke, Va.; sisters, Mrs. Jessie Sharpe of Graham, Mrs. Lois Satterfield of Rt. 2, Graham, Mrs. Grace Rich of Rt. 1, Haw River, three grandchildren.
Final rites will be held at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Haw River United Church of Christ with the Rev. James L. Rosser officiating. Burial will be in Alamance Memorial Park.
The body will remain at McClure Funeral Home in Graham until placed in church 30 minutes prior to services.
The family will receive friends from 7 until 9 tonight at McClure Funeral Home in Graham.
