estate is worth $4,000.
In the 1880 Missouri Census [microfilm roll 707, ED-263, sheet 21, line 45 ? Polk Township, Nodaway County] on 16 June we see: BW, age 49; Irene, age 34; Marion, age 18; James, age 16; Henry, age 15; Laura, age 13; Isaac, age 10; Joe, age 6; and Albert, age 4 months, born in February. Irene was born in Indiana and her parents in NC. Marion, James, and Henry are farming; James, Henry, Laura, and Isaac attend school. Almost all of the US 1890 Census burned, and no records are available. Barton is yet to be found in the 1900 or 1910 Censuses, although the 1910 Census index for Missouri erroneously lists him as living with the same wife and step-daughter in Mound City, Holt County as were enumerated with Martin
Trillinger in 1900. [The 1910 microfilm for Holt County is virtually unreadable].
31. Francis Monroe Trullinger was born on 3 Jul 1858. He died on 19 Jul 1931 in Wells Cty ND. He married Mary Jane Shell on 24 Oct 1880 in Nodaway Cty MO. Mary Jane Shell
was born on 25 Mar 1858. She died on 19 Sep 1892 in Nodaway Cty MO. Francis Monroe Trullinger and Mary Jane Shell had the following children:

In 1900 he lived with his parents on the farm in Wyard Township, Foster County. In 1910 he's married, living in Carrington, working as a roofer and tinner with 2 boarders living with them, one of the boarders a teacher. In 1920 (when Francis has retired to town), he's farming a rented farm in Wyard Township, probably his father's old place. 51a iv. FrankTrullinger, born Dec 1886 in Missouri. In the 1910 Census, Frank, age 24, and his new wife Nellie, age 20, are enumerated living in Wyard Township with Francis and family. In 1920, Frank is enumerated as a farmer renting land in Pleasant Valley Township, Foster Cty; there are 2 children. My wife recalls that "Uncle Frank" later moved to Seattle, probably during the drought years of the 1930's. 51b v. Worley [Barton W. Trullinger's middle name] Trullinger "Uncle Pete", born July 1889. In 1900 and 1910 he's enumerated with his parents in Wyard Township. In 1920 he is living on Albert St. in Carrington with his occupation listed as farmer. His wife Barbara, age 28 in 1920, is working as a telephone operator, probably in the same office as Nellie. They have a son Francis who is 4 7/12 years old. My wife recalls seeing him at a family funeral in 1952 and that he was living in the Minneapolis area.
51c vi. Nellie Trullinger, was born Sept, 1891 in Nodaway Cty MO, just one year before her mother died. Didn't marry, died after 1960 in St. Joe, MO. She was apparently raised by Francis's sister, Mrs. Chance L. (Laura) Evans since Nellie is listed at their farm in the 1900 and 1910 Nodaway Cty, MO censuses as a niece. In 1920 she is living with her parents in Carrington, ND and is working as a telephone operator. My wife's mother and her mother's
sister would go to (St. Joseph) MO to visit her. Alan Trullinger drove the two women down to MO to attend Nellie's funeral.
He married Netta Witham on 22 Jul 1894 in Nodaway Cty MO. Francis Monroe Trullinger and Netta Witham had the following children:
+52 i. Gladys Trullinger.
