Mrs. Mabel Drullinger, Chester, Had Been Dead Since Day Before, Is Belief.
(By The Telescope's Chester Corr.)
Mrs. Mabel Drullinger, 60, was found dead in her home in Chester Tuesday noon, a victim of heart disease which was believed to have taken her life 24 hours before. The body was discovered after telephone calls to her home brought no response, and a neighbor, Mrs. Carrie Davenport, entered the house at the request of friends to learn why she did not answer the telephone. She lived alone.
Mrs. Drullinger had been uptown Monday noon, and her coat and hat were on a table, where she apparently had tossed them on her return. Friends believe that she was stricken with the fatal attack soon after entering the house. She had lived in the Chester vicinity almost her entire life, and since 1920 in the home in which she died. Several months ago she obtained a divorce from her second husband, Harley Farr, and her name of Drullinger was restored. Farr is now in California.
Reputedly wealthy, Mrs. Drullinger was well known in Thayer county (sic). She had no immediate family, but maintained a comfortable home in Chester. Funeral arrangements are awaiting word from relatives in California.
