As her children grew up she became very involved in the League of Women voters, 50 years, and many church committees as well. Ann was a champion for women's rights and worked for this cause in the league of Women Voters booth at the state fair for numerous years. Upon retirement they traveled the world extensively and had a love for Latin America and Mexico in particular.
