  	Mrs. Mary Ann Thomas, 85, a resident of Buckingham's Choice, Adamstown, died on Tuesday morning, Dec. 28, 2004, at Frederick Memorial Hospital. Twice married, Mrs. Thomas was the wife of the late Dr. James McCosh, who died in 1986, and Judge Edward O. Thomas. Born in Jackson, Tenn., on July 29, 1919, Mrs. Thomas was a daughter of the late Price and Katherine White Trolinger. Mrs. Thomas lived in Baltimore in her youth, and was a graduate of the Maryland Institute, then working for a time in costume design. She married Dr. James McCosh in 1942, and they resided in Baltimore area until his death in 1986. In 1990, she married Judge Edward O. Thomas and remained a resident of Baltimore until 1999, when the two of them moved to Buckingham's Choice at Adamstown. Surviving in addition to her husband, are six children, Susan Haynes of Visalia, Calif., Dr. J. Alexander (Alec) McCosh of Henderson, Nev., Andrew W. McCosh of Stewartstown, Pa., Katherine Ann (Cindy) Robinson of Woodstock, Ga., Barbara (Muffie) Vasale of Santa Rosa, Calif., and Laurie Bradford of Pas Christian, Miss.; and 12 grandchildren. She was the last of her immediate family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Jan. 1, at 10:30 a.m. at the multi-purpose room at Buckingham's Choice, 3200 Baker Circle, Adamstown. The Rev. Elaine Prince, chaplain, will officiate. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to either the Maryland School for the Blind, 3501 Taylor Ave., Baltimore, MD 21236; or the Buckingham's Choice Residents Assistance Fund, 3200 Baker Circle, Adamstown, MD 21710. The Keeney and Basford Funeral Home, 106 E. Church St., is in charge of the arrangements.
