Notes - Went by "Vance". Vance's biological father (surname: Ludlow) is the same person as Danton's father and like Danton, Vance also changed his name to Drollinger, as confessed to me by Kathi (Smith) Fletcher (dau. of Clella Ruth (Drollinger) Smith during our first conversation on 24 Sep 2005. Kathi is supposed to send me the birth name of their biological father and the circumstances surrounding his and Hazel's relationship.

David H. Drollinger - Would you mind filling me in a bit on the circumstances surrounding their parentage unless it's none of my business of course?!! Basically, I was just wanting to know if Hazel and their father were ever married and if so, when and where (you know how these genealogy programs are)?
Kathi Fletcher - Read in ?Hazels? newsletter on page 5 ? middle column. Also, review in ?Buds? newsletter page 3 the bottom of column 1 for divorce info. There isn?t much info as to why Harvey left. Only a few words mom mentioned to me that she remembers. As Harvey was leaving Hazel was begging him to stay. He never looked back. Walked out on Hazel, his two boys and the other 5 children Hazel had when they were married. No other information has ever been provided to mom.
David H. Drollinger - And, why did the two boys legally change their names to "Drollinger" (this is more for my sense of curiosity!)?
