Brozek Birth 16 Jul 1950 Columbus, Columbia, WI Gender Male Death 6 Nov 2009 Madison, Dane, WI - Michael, our hero, passed away peacefully on Friday surrounded by his family, after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis. He was born the son of Cleve & Esther Brozek. Michael married Diane Drollinger, on Jan. 12, 1974. He was the vice president of Electric Construction, working there for over 20 years. Michael was an avid Badgers fan, UW-Madison alumni, lifetime member of the National Rifle Association, avid hunter and fisherman. When his children were younger, he was active in the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Diane; four children, Chris' (Rhonda) constant hunting partner, Rebecca's encouraging muse, Eric's (Sarah Joy) intellectual equal, and Sara's musical groupie; his beloved grandson, Max, to whom he was a constant playmate; and his brothers; sisters; nieces; nephews; friends; and hunting partner, Jeff Rowley. Funeral services were held at the Funeral Home with Pastor Tyler Byers presiding. Special thanks to the nurses and doctors at UW Hospital. The only thing that trumped his love of hunting was his love of his family.
