Mary E. Boland
Fort Gratiot - 86, passed away on Wednesday, January 6, 2021.
She was born in Detroit, Michigan on October 14, 1934, the daughter of Charles and Henrietta Paquette.
Mary attended St. David's High School, Detroit. She then went on to work at Kmart for 23 years. She enjoyed Bingo, and loved spending time with family and friends.
She is survived by her children, Diana (Robert) Colgan of Clyde Township, William (Vida) Boland of Fort Gratiot, Kim Bankson of Fort Gratiot, and JoEllen (Bill Oestmann) Boland of Illinois; grandchildren, Robby Colgan, William, Jean & Robert Boland, Corey (Corine) Bankson, Shannon Daley, K C Horton, Sky Horton, and Sianne Drollinger; 11 great-grandchildren and 2 great-great-grandchildren; sisters, Catherine (John) Martell and Michele Smith; and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding Mary in death are her infant son, Chip Boland; grandson, Joshua Boland; parents, Charles & Henriette Paquette; siblings, Janet, Charles and Thomas Paquette.
Burial will take place at Caswell Cemetery in Kimball, Michigan. Cremation arrangements were provided by Smith Family Funeral Home of Port Huron.
Memorials are suggested to either Humane Society or Regency-on-the-Lake.
