- Dwayne Allen Josey, 65, of Oklahoma City died Tuesday, Aug. 22, in Norman. Services will be 11 a.m. Friday at Southern Hills Church of God in Oklahoma City, 1029 SW 74th. The family will receive friends 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. today at the John M. Ireland Funeral Home in Moore. Burial will be 10 a.m. Monday at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview.
Mr. Josey was born Feb. 21, 1941, in Plainview, Texas, and lived in Texas most of his life. He later moved to Wichita, Kan., where he lived for 18 years, and then resided at Lake Tenkiller.
He is survived by his son Rick Josey of Oklahoma City; daughters Shannon Baker of Big Cabin and Mandi Prine of Nocona, Texas; eight grandchildren, Tiffany, Zack, Samantha, Katie, Seth, Grady, Kalei and Olivia; sister Marilyn Bullock of Floresville, Texas; and four nephews.
