  	Gerald Lee Trogdon, age 77, of Greensboro passed away Monday March 7, 2016 at his home. A funeral service will be held 2:00 PM Friday March 11, 2016 at Forbis & Dick N. Elm Chapel. Interment will immediately follow at Lakeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Thursday March 10th from 6-8 PM at the funeral home. Gerald Trogdon was born April 9, 1938 to the late Oscar and Norma Trogdon. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force in both the Korean and Vietnam War. Mr. Trogdon also staffed Air Force One for President Lyndon B. Johnson and later retired from the Air Force in 1979. Most of all, Gerald Trogdon was a dedicated family man and a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 41 years Linda Kaye Trogdon.
