She was born in Marion, Indiana on October 17, 1956 to Harold and Marcella (Davis) Case. She married Brian Drollinger on March 16, 1985 and he survives. Jean worked at ResCare for eight years. She was a former member of the Gas City Fire Department Auxiliary. Taking care of the needs of others was extremely important to Jean. She was an exceptional grandmother who rarely missed her grandkids events. Survivors include her husband, Brian Drollinger, Marion; children, Ronda (Greg Sollars) Chapel, Gas City, Nijaul (Christina) Drollinger, Converse, Lisa (Felix) Vasquez, Gas City; sisters, Phyllis Doyle, Gas City, Anna Dunn, Marion; brother, Steven (Janie) Case, Fairmount; in-laws, Bill and Jennie Drollinger, Gas City; sister-in-law, Tammy Case, Utah; grandchildren, Courtney, Quinten, Sarah, Wyatt, Kenae, Trey, Austin, Cierra; great-grandchild, Nila. She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Case; and sister, Marilyn Sample. Visitation will be from 4 - 8 pm on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Needham-Storey- Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main Street, Gas City, Indiana. Funeral Services are at 1 pm on Wednesday, April 27, 2011 at Needham-Storey- Wampner Funeral Service, Storey Chapel, 400 E. Main Street, Gas City, Indiana with Reverend Mick Simpkins officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Gas City, Indiana.

She was a very loving and caring person that I have the pleasure of saying : a great person to work with and also a truly great friend. Alot of people never understood my relationship, with Brian and Jean. Being his ex's. Jean, never treated me as a ex's. She was a good friend. And a great stepmother to Nijaul. She never once treated him any different, then her own children. She love Nijaul just as much as her own. If you know Jean at all, you could not help but love her. Jean your a very special lady. You put smiles on everyone face. I will truly miss you. May God Grace guild you to the eternal life, we all seek.
