Charles Edward Yost
Born at Geneva, Nebraska, September 9, 1883, Charles Edward Yost isthe son of Charles Henry and Sarah Jane (Bruce) Yost. His father, bornat Goshen, Ohio, August 11, 1848, traces his ancestry in America to1755. He was a farmer, who came to Nebraska in its early days, anddied at Pauline, Nebraska, June 9, 1925. His wife, who was born May17, 1849, traced her ancestry to Mayflower passengers. She died atHastings in 1922.
Charles Edward Yost attended Hastings public anal high schools and wasgraduated from Hastings Business College in 1903. He is a dairy farmerat the present time, and is president of the Adams County LivestockBreeders Association. His hobby is Jersey cattle.
On February 6, 1907, he was united in marriage to Clara MaryDrollinger at Hastings. Mrs. Yost was born at Gardner, Illinois, July10, 1887. There are three children, Jessie, born January 18, 1908, whomarried Harold Alton Lundeen; Edward M., born July 2, 1911; and IdaElizabeth, born February 25, 1919. The family attends the FirstMethodist Church at Hastings. Residence: Hastings.
