Death of Old Father May
Mr. Kraft May, died at his late residence on South East Street, last evening, in the 82d year of his age. Deceased was born in Baden, Germany, (the same place as his son-in-law, Mr. John Diebold, deceased.) January 14th, 1801. He came to America in company with a number of others in 1854, since which time he has resided with his daughter, Mrs. John Diebold. He was a kind and loving father and much respected citizen. The funeral will take place at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning from the Luthern Church and the remains will be placed in the Diebold lot in the Marion Cemetery. - This is the same individual as Friedrich Kraft May and needs to be merged.
