Funeral services for Burl P. Drollinger were held Thursday at Owen-Elliott Chapel. Major Broad of the Salvation Army officiated. During the services Burnett C. Elliott sang two solos accompanied by Mrs. Donald Nixon. Friends serving as casket bearers were Charles Miller, W. R. Miller, George A. Hayes, Oscar A. Spuhler, A.S. Howard, J. B. Stickels. Interment was in the Conrad Memorial Cemetery. Services were under the direction of the Own-Elliott Mortuary.
Obituary
Burl P. Drollinger was born at Fort Madison, Iowa, May 17, 1854, and died March 25, 1941. He came to Montana in 1906 and was engaged in farming until 1910 when he retired. His wife passed away in 1912. He is survived by one son, Clyde Drollinger of Kalispell, and two daughters, Mrs. Zulah McDonald of Yakima, Wash., and Mrs. Jessie L. Ross of Missoula. There are also six grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
