He was a Navy veteran and a member of Wabash Eagles Lodge,, American Legion Post No. 15 and was a life member of the Veterans of Foreign War Post No. 286. Also surviving are two step-sons, Steven Gray, Treaty, and Bill Gray Jr., Marrow, Ga.; one stepdaughter, Paula Earls, address unknown,; three brothers, Richard Titus, Pierceton, Thomas Titus, Independence, Mo., and Jerry Titus, Melbourne, Fla., one sister, Virginia Karnehm, Lafayette, and six stepchildren. Four brothers and one sister are deceased. Services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Manchester Avenue Chapel, Grandstaff-Hentgen Funeral Service. Tony Thomas will officiate. Burial will be in Hopewell Cemetery. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
