Notes - Mrs. Ella Rowser Rhodes, of Saxton, died April 25, 1943, at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Henry Schleuter of Saxton. She was born In Tipton, Iowa, on August 31, 1859. She was the daughter of Samuel and Frances (Dorlliger) Rowser. Survivors include her daughter, Mrs. Schleuter at whose home she died, and a son, Ralph Rhodes of Saxton; also two grandchildren; and four brothers and two sisters: Milton Rowser of Stanwood, Iowa; Wayne Rowser of Tipton, Iowa; Edgar Rowser of Clarence, Iowa; Charles Rowser, of Doylesville, Iowa; Miss Nancy Rhodes, Tipton, Iowa; and Mrs. O. J. Spear, Buckingham., Iowa. Her husband. Daniel W. Rhodes, died about twenty years ago. In early life Mrs. Rhodes taught school in Tipton, Iowa. After her marriage she moved to Saxton with her husband and took up agriculture and later entered the dairy business.
