  	Published in Patriot-News on February 9, 2011 Martha Louise Trullinger Myers, 91, of Harrisburg, passed away Sunday at her home. She was born on October 14, 1919 to the late Dr. Charles I. and Martha N. (Hummel) Trullinger. She was affectionately nicknamed Tris by her brother and was called Betty by her friends. She retired from the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, where she worked as an executive secretary for Senator Van Zant and Senator Hess. She was a lifelong member of Progress Immanuel Presbyterian Church and she loved her dogs. Martha is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W. Myers; her son, Timothy Myers; brother, James W. Trullinger; two sisters, Virginia Trullinger and Sara Jean Trullinger Hunnemann. Surviving are her son, Thomas I. Myers and his wife, Betsy of Harrisburg; two granddaughters, Carly and Alexis Myers, both of Harrisburg; three cousins and two nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 11 am at the Hetrick-Bitner Funeral Home. There will be a visitation from 10-11 am at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Shoop's Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to the Humane Society of Greater Harrisburg, 7790 Grayson Road, Harrisburg, PA 17111.
