  	Graveside services will be held tomorrow, December 22 at 3 p.m. at the IOOF Cemetery for Dr. Floy Grindrod Hunt, a former valley resident who died at her home in Seattle, Tuesday, December 18 at the age of 82. Rev. George Poor will conduct the rites. Born October 30, 1880 at Empire City, Oregon, Floy Grindrod came to Ellensburg as a child with parents, the late Mr. and Mrs. Edward G. Grindrod. She attended local school, the old Ellensburg Normal School, Washington State College and received her M. D. degree from Drake University Medical School at Des Moines, Iowa in 1910. Mrs. Hunt was for many years a member of Seattle First Methodist Church. Survivors include her three sons, Milton Hunt of Yakima, Dr. G. Bryon Hunt of Walla Walla and Dr. Eugene S. Hunt of Seattle; a daughter, Miss Dora Hunt of Davis, California; a sister, Miss Ion Grindrod of Seattle, a brother, George Grindrod of Oconomowoc, Wisconsin, and 12 grandchildren. Memorial services will be held Saturday, January 5 at 2 p.m. at the First Methodist Church in Seattle. Ellensburg Daily Record, December 21, 1962
