He was born December 12, 1956 in Paxton the son of Everett E. and Marjorie M. (Hogrefe) Terrell. He married Julie M. Drullinger August 11, 1975, she survives. Also surviving are his mother; Marjorie Gray of Kingman, four daughters; Angela Lynn (Dan) Coughlin of Brownsburg, IN, Tracy Lee (Eric) Turner of Danville, Shannon Marie (Tim) Knight of Potomac and Amanda Jo Terrell of Indianapolis, two brothers; Donald (Gina) Terrell of Tilton and Dale Terrell of Covington, half siblings; Tonya Morgan, Corey Terrell, Dennis Terrell, Dwayne Terrell and Abby Terrell, Grandchildren; Matthew Terrell, Maddison Turner, Hannah Turner, Alayna Coughlin, Andrew Coughlin, Christopher Coughlin, Tyler Knight and Abbie Knight. He was preceded in death by his father.
David worked for Danville Metal Stamping for 37 ½ years. He was a member of Community Church of God. He ran the Interdenominational Softball League. He was a die-hard White Sox Fan and loyal Illini football season ticket holder. He coached and umpired for various softball leagues and rang bells for the Salvation Army for several years.
A funeral service for David will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 9, 2016 at Community Church of God with Pastors Jeremy Zerkle and Corey Stocksdale officiating. Burial will be at Resurrection Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, June 8 at the church. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Church of God.
