  It appears that Virgil Don was one of those unfortunate individuals that had his name butchered by the social security administration. His Draft registration has him as Virgil Don and his request for a VA head stone signed by his brother have him as Virgil Don. Unfortunate that we don't have the originals to examine except in the cases of the draft and headstone applications.
