Fern Louise Drullinger was born on September 9, 1918 in Kanorado, Kansas to Frank and Edna (Morris) Cecil. She passed away on October 29, 2013 at the Yuma Life Care Center in Yuma, Colorado at the age of 95.
Fern graduated from High School and then received her Bachelor of Arts from Southern Colorado State College. She became a teacher and shared her love of teaching with students in both Kansas and Colorado.
Fern married Harrison "Rex" Drullinger on June 21, 1941 in Clark County, Nevada. To this union two sons were born, Bryan and Dale. They shared sixty-four years together before Harrison passed away on September 11, 2005.
Fern had a special connection to the land, she loved to garden and the livestock. She was a gifted seamstress, which she took great pleasure in.
Fern was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Edna Cecil; husband, Rex; brothers, Allen, Waverly, Eugene, Philip, Marion, Robert, Everett and David and her sister, Mary Lea.
Fern is survived by her sons, Bryan of Cope, Colorado and Dale and wife, Frankie, of
Fort Morgan, Colorado; sisters, Margie, of White City, Kansas; Sylvia of Lewis, Kansas; Audrey of Broomfield, Colorado; Goldie Darlene of Carlsbad, California along with other numerous relatives and friends.
The Funeral Service was held on Monday, November 4, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cope Community Church in Cope, Colorado with Pastor Terry Covert officiating. Interment followed at the Cope Cemetery. Baucke Funeral Home directed the service. In Lieu of flowers the family requests memorials in Fern's name which will be used in the Cope Community.

Baucke Funeral Home of Yuma is in charge of arrangements.
