Paul Vernon Lovell, 59, Eldon, died Tuesday at St. Marys Health Center, Jefferson City. He was born Dec. 24, 1933, in St. Louis, a son of Arthur and Goldie Shackleford Lovell. His father survives in Eldon. He was married Nov. 12, 1953, in Salem Ark., to Peggy Page, who survives at the home.
He served in the Air Force from 1953-1973. Following his retirement from the Air Force, he worked for Kraft Foods, Eldon; Pryor Novelty, Tuscumbia; and Osage Products, Eldon. He also had a woodworking shop in his home. He was a member of the Eldon VFW Post.
Other survivors include: four daughters, Joan Ryan, Tuscumbia, Virgin Morrison, Versailles, Peggy Waite and Scarlet Albrecht, both of Eldon; 12 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Stevinson-Mossman Funeral Home, Iberia. Bro. Rick Yoder will officiate. Military graveside rites will be given by the Whiteman Air Force Base funeral detail. Visitation will be from 6-9 p.m. today. Memorials are suggested to Camp Wonderland or Page Memorial Scholarship Fund.
