Edward C. Arnold Dies in Merced; Rites Tomorrow
Edward C. Arnold, 63, of Merced, died yesterday at Merced General Hospital. He was born in Pennsylvania and had lived in this community for two years and half years. Arnold was employed as a Plummer by the U.S. government at Yosemite National Park. Arnold was a 32 degree Mason, belonging to Scottish Rite lodge in Indianapolis. He also was a member of Logan Lodge 575 F. and A. M. in Indianapolis. His wife, Mrs. Alma Arnold, is his sole survivor. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 18, at 2 p.m., under the auspices of Yosemite Lodge 99 F and A. M. at Ivers and Alcorn Mission Chapel. Burial will be at the Masonic Cemetery.
