Life Legacy
John R. ?Bear? Trullinger, Sr., 82, formerly of Center Square passed away Sunday, April 12, 2009 at Phoenixville Hospital. He was the beloved husband of the late Catherine (Roveran) Trullinger to whom he was married for over 60 years.
Born May 7, 1926 in Roxborough he was one of nine children born to the late Thomas and Catherine (Duffy) Trullinger. He was a graduate of Roxborough High School. After high school he served in the US Navy during WWII. Golf was a very large part of his entire life. He started as a caddy and became Superintendent at Green Valley Country Club; he then became the Superintendent and Golf Professional at Center Square Golf Club until his retirement.
He is survived by his children, Patricia Leopold and her husband Bill of Collegeville, John Trullinger, Jr. of Limerick, Kathleen Baldasano and her husband Rick of Schwenksville; his siblings, Doris Winters, Joan Ehasz, Eleanore Smith, Theodore ?Bud? Trullinger, Thomas Trullinger; nine grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren.
In addition to his wife he was predeceased by his siblings, Betty Maloney, Myrtle Tickner, and Anna Pondo. [end]
