Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Congressional Church for Isaac Trullinger 52 who died Saturday at a Shenandoah hospital. He died of gun wounds that authorities said were self inflicted. The husband of Farragut's postmaster, Mr Trullinger, has been an invalid for 22 years after suffering a broken back in a tractor accident. The Reverand George Campbell officiated at the funeral services. Burial was in Farragut cemetery. Besides his widow Mrs Dorris Trullinger, he is survived by two sons, Leonard of Omaha and Gerald of Stanton; a daughter Mrs James Bredensteiner of Northboro; four grandchildren; three brothers; three sisters.

Isaac Trullinger was born Feb 17, 1904, to Hillary Barton and Clara Ober Trullinger, in Farragut and died Oct 13, 1956, at the Hand Hospital in Shenandoah. He spent his entire life in Farragut and attended the local school.
Mr. Trullinger worked on farms and as a construction crewman until injured while at work 23 years ago. In the accident he was paralyzed from the waist down.
He was a member of the local Congregational Church. Mr. Trullinger and Miss Dorris Jordan of Sidney were married June 30, 1926. Three children were born to this union: Mrs. Jim (Faye) Bredensteiner of Northboro, Leonard of Omaha, NE., and Gerald of Stanton. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and one grandchild (Terry Sue Bredensteiner).
Survivors are his widow, three children, and grandshildren; brothers Milton of Willow Springs, MO, Earl of Waterloo, NE, and Doliver of Denver, CO; sisters Mrs. Jessie Sawyer of Roscoe, NE, Mrs. Pearl Snyder of Red Oak, and Mrs. Bessie Bennett of Shenandoah.
Services were held Tuesday afternoon at the Congregational Church, with Rev. Campbell officiating; Keith Bickett soloist; Mrs. Jessie Turnbull organist.
Flowers were cared for by Mrs. George Bunn, Mrs. Delbert V Roberts, Mrs. Kenneth Durfey, and Mrs. Herschel B Whitehill. Mrs. H Henstorf was in charge of the memory book. Bearers were Herschel B. Whitehill, Delbert V Roberts, John Starnes, Jr, Emil Van Sant, and Lyle Hilton. Interment in Farragut Cemetery.
At tending were sisters Mrs. Jessie Sawyer, Mrs. Bessie Bennett, Mrs. Pearl Snyder and brother, Earl.
