    • Genevieve C. Heins, age 88, of Roscoe, passed away Jan. 21, 2005, at Sutherland Care Center.
      She was born Jan. 21, 1917 in Valley, Nebraska the daughter of George and Jessie (Trullinger) Sawyer. The family moved to Colorado before moving south to Paxton when Genevieve was four years old.
      In 1937 she married LaVern Fischer. He died three and one half years later. To this union was born one son. Genevieve later married Telesfora Garcia and this union two children were born. She laster married Carl Heins and the couple had one daughter.
      Genevieve had been a member of the Ogallala United Methodist Church.
      She is survived by one son and two daughters, seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
      She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Melvin Fischer, and her three husband, and one brother, Jack Sawyer.
      Burial will be in the Ogallala Cemetery.
