Notes - Charles was the son of Lucille and NOT the son of George Christopher Trullinger and Catherine. Charles was born a year before his mother, Lucille, was married to Otto Blaine Rogers. Charles was probably an out-of-wedlock child (which would explain why he carries his mother's maiden name) and that at 18 years old Lucille may have been ill prepared to raise a child possibly explaining why Charles was raised by his grandparents and why he is listed as their son in the 1930 Census.
